First grade skills

The kids are enjoying their new book! I have sent home the story they read today so they can practice reading it to you. Please sign that they did and return. Reading to an older sibling is fine as well! We will be doing a lot of repeated readings moving forward as it builds fluency! The kids will also be doing more repeated readings in class with partners. Also, please keep practicing sight words at home . Our new sight word this week is "he". I am so proud if how hard all the kids are working!!
